After a year and half traveling in our RV, we decided to start a new adventure by settling our roots in an unfamiliar surrounding - a quaint 34 acre farm. We look forward to sharing the coming weeks, months, and years as we enjoy rural life and explore what farm life is all about!

Almost time...
It occured to me today that we only have one week left before we leave. While this is exciting to me, it also makes me think about all we have to do before we leave. It is going to be a busy week for sure!! A lot of talk going on here in our house about the changes ahead of us. Maddy says she can't wait to see so many different places and Ali hopes to find someplace he can try skydiving on our journey! With the weather we have had lately I am really looking forward to some sun and sand!! Did you know it's 87 degrees in San Diego right now (that's our first stop!) While we are all looking forward to trying new things, we all agree that we will miss our family and friends. So this week we will be spending as much time as possible with everyone and enjoying the good times!

Tech Training 101
Today was my first orientation of the motorhome beyond the 'feature sheet'. I will have to admit, there is a heck of alot of stuff to remember, orders of operation, checklists, etc. Frankly, the motorome has literally jumped from the glossy brochure and has become a stark reality. My family will be depending upon me...not to rip of the slides, remember not to overfill the water tank, ensure the 'plumbing' is still working, remember how to turn on the hot water tank, and so much more! I have decided I need to read find the manuals and read them, yes a man who admits he NEEDS to read the manual! If we are going to make it beyond Guelph, I need to start reading...25 days and counting.
