A Sad Day

On Saturday Ali's wonderful little guinea pig, Chewy, passed away. He was a delightful little fellow who loved to roam in the grass and burrow under your legs. It was very unexpected and we will all miss him.

The Rockies

Well...once again we've made the cross country trek I said we would not do again! With the sale of our house and the three week closing (yikes) we really had to push it to get ourselves back to Ontario. This means our stay in Alberta was brief but we managed to still pack in quite a bit of sightseeing. The most memorable was spending a day in Banff and a day in Lake Louise. The kids were happy to see all the wild life and of course Ali just "had" to fall into Lake Louise! He'll remember that visit for sure!! We also spent a week in Drumheller checking out the hoo doos and all that is dinosaurs!!
