Hangin With the Kids

This weekend was all about playing with the kids! The weather was perfect so we stayed home and spent Saturday outdoors...the kids had a blast cruisin around the lake with Daddy in the pedal boats. Before we knew it we were on the other side of the lake at the playground...I'm not sure who had more fun Bill , the kids, or me laughing at Bill and the kids! Their was some debate about who had the highest jump off the swings, but I have the pictures to prove it... Later we went out to pick up a car for the kids and I during the week, and out for dinner at Chili's...some Mexican food at last! Ali and I were really happy about that! On Sunday, Bill had to leave for Halifax. So the kids and I put the top down on the convertible, cranked the tunes, and headed out to La Jolla. It felt so great to be out by the ocean on a sunny day. We spent hours at the farmers market, picking out organic breads, veggies and fresh flowers. We met two vendors from Ontario! Ali bought a wooden flute, Maddy found a Christmas ornament for her bedroom, and Katie bought a bag of strawberry guava. YUM!
