The San Diego Zoo has a second "zoo" called the Wild Animal Park...a zoo with more natural settings where you go into their habitat and see the animals in their own space. Today we went to the Park with Laurie and the boys, and what a day it was! The kids were thrilled with the Sponge Bob Simulator Ride and browsing the many gift shops! Maddy's favorite animals were the mommy and baby rhino ( it was three months old!) and Ali liked the gorillas best. I was enthralled with the cheetahs...it was like they were posing! It's hard to pick only a few pictures, so here are the kids favorites!
